DOMINO HOUSE

A multi-purpose home for the artist Miroslaw Balka. A home as well as space for the creative to be free and connected as they work. This project researched how a client would work alongside their living space and still be able to disconnect and relax at the right time. Understanding the client and the site to ensure both can be connected yet work hand in hand to produce the most successful outcome.

The concept followed the process of connecting the outside to within the home. Using site analysis to ensure the surrounding of the home was highly recognised and that architecture and nature could work as one. The idea of feeling connected ran through this concept, creating the idea that the atmosphere of the home was built within the environment rather than it being built within the home around its surroundings.
